Angela ŞOLTAN, Language education and its effectiveness in the Republic of Moldova


Abstract: This study aims to investigate the effectiveness of language education policies in the context of the Moldovan society transition from 1991 towards new political and cultural models. The research emphasizes the necessity to develop a demand-based,
communicative approach to learning languages, favouring a framework for dialogue and intercultural communication skills development.
